Lakeside Heating & Air Conditioning Wins 2026 Normy Award

Lakeside Heating & Air Conditioning won Best Heating and Air Conditioning Service at the 2026 Normy Awards! The Lake Norman Citizen hosts the Normys every year. Winners are chosen by reader votes, so this award came directly from the community we serve.

About the Normy Awards

The Lake Norman Citizen is a community newspaper that has covered the area since 2002. It serves Denver, Mooresville, Huntersville, Cornelius, and Davidson with a weekly print edition and daily online news. Lakeside is based in Denver and serves Charlotte, Cornelius, Davidson, Huntersville, Mooresville, Stanley, and nearby areas.

The Normys are the Citizen’s annual readers’ choice awards for local businesses. Each year starts with a nomination period, and then readers vote for their choice in each category. Each category then names one winner and one finalist.

The 2026 awards covered more than 100 business categories, and readers cast more than 39,000 votes across them. Those categories range from boat dealers and restaurants to dentists, veterinarians, and home service companies such as Lakeside Heating & Air Conditioning.

The winners were honored at the 2026 Normy awards night on Oct. 15 at the Huntersville Recreation Center. The event drew a record crowd of more than 300 guests.
